This summary document was produced as part of Ebola/VHF measures and is based on the Department of Health/HSE, 2015 VHF guidance aligned to ACDP. It provides guidance on SICPs and TBPs to be used for patient placement, PPE and RPE, equipment and environmental decontamination, linen, waste and care of deceased. It also provides specific information on dealing with and transporting of specimens and reporting of incidents. As this document was produced in 2015/2016 advise and weblinks may have changed. Where SICPs and TBPs are mentioned then the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual should be referred to for current guidance.
